Q. Why Jewell?

A. I was recruited to play volleyball for the Cardinals, but I chose Jewell because I loved the small community feeling and small class size. During my tour of campus, I could tell everyone, including the professors and volleyball coaches, cared about students' academic and campus lives.

A. One of my favorite things about Jewell is all our traditions. Every year I look forward to Lighting of the Quad because it brings the whole community together for a peaceful night. I love that Jewell takes the time to make campus feel like home when we near the holidays.

A. I have always enjoyed my Critical Thought and Inquiry (CTI) classes. Because of these courses, I have been able to dive deeper into a variety of topics that I never would have thought about or studied. I am able to share my perspectives and listen to other people's viewpoints, which has helped me grow as a student and person.

Q. Describe your Jewell experience.

A. My Jewell Journey has prepared me well for grad school and my future career. William Jewell is a special place where students come to grow academically and as engaged citizens. The relationships that students have with their professors are a unique quality that I love about Jewell. My advisors helped lay a path that allowed me to succeed both on the court and in the classroom. Jewell's approach to critical thinking has allowed me to study areas outside of science, which has developed me into a more well-rounded and creative individual.
