Jewell to honor distinguished alumni

William Jewell College will host its 82nd annual Celebration of Achievement at 6 p.m. March 6 at the Downtown Marriott Muehlebach Tower. The guest speaker will be Tim Cowden, president and CEO of Kansas City Area Development Council.

All are invited to attend a Convocation ceremony on March 6 at 10:45 a.m. in Gano Chapel, where Citation for Achievement recipients will speak. 

The Achievement events are designed to further the excellence of the College in its community, support student scholarships and honor distinguished alumni who have made significant contributions in their fields. The 2026 recipients:
