Abraham Pascoe, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Mathematics Data Science, Mathematics

Dr. Pascoe received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Kansas while also obtaining a graduate certificate in data science. His research interests are studying local cohomology within the larger field of commutative algebra. Specifically, he studies the vanishing of local cohomology, its connections to simplicial homology, and how it encodes topological properties of the prime spectrum. Dr. Pascoe joined the faculty in 2024.
