Kris Kirkwood


Guest Artist in Lighting Design Artist Diploma in Voice (Graduate), Musical Theatre, Theatre

Instructor Kirkwood is a lighting, projections and media designer based out of Kansas City. His recent work includes designs for the Lexington, Kentucky, Philharmonic; the Cumberland County, Maryland, Playhouse; and the Bar Harbor Music Festival in New York. He is a co-founding member of Papermoon Opera Productions. Recent local credits include designs for "Master Harold and the Boys," "Macbeth," "Heathers," "Into the Woods," "Little Women," "Nelly Don the Musical," "W;t," "American Idiot," "American Trailer Park" and "La Voix Humaine" (first prize from the National Opera Association in 2018).
