Assistant Professor Communication

Savaughn E. Williams studies interracial friendships and race communication, as well as Blackness across contexts such as sexuality, family and health communication. Williams has previously published book chapters in “Casing the Family: Theoretical and Applied Approaches to Understanding Family Communication” and “Badass Feminist Politics, and she co-authored a chapter in “The Routledge International Handbook of Organizational Autoethnography. She is a doctoral candidate at the University of Kansas.
