    All alumni who graduated in or before 1968 are invited to return to campus on the eve of Homecoming to enjoy a full afternoon of activities. Alumni celebrating 50-, 60-, and 70-year reunions will receive special recognition during the lapel presentation.

    Jewell’s Hall of Fame was established in 1994 to recognize outstanding achievement by alumni and/or faculty in the areas of athletic achievement or coaching, or other noteworthy accomplishments in athletic-related areas. The selection is based solely on what the individual or team accomplished while associated with Jewell. This year’s inductees are:

    • Ed Elliott ’60, Football/Wrestling
    • Bob Hatcher ’65, Cross Country/Track and Field
    • Drew Mathews ’06, Basketball
    • Mark Brackman ’07, Baseball
    • Mike Stockton, Baseball coach

  • Liberty Symphony Orchestra Community Outreach Concert

    Garrison School – Clay County African-American Legacy, Inc.

    Enjoy this free concert by making reservations online at libertysymphony.org/tickets as limited seats are available. The orchestra includes some Jewell faculty, current students and alumni. The performance features selections by African-American classical music composers: Clarence Cameron White-Bandanna Sketches-Four Negro Spirituals, William Grant Still-Wood Notes, and aTribute to Duke Ellington.
