William Jewell announces its schedule of holiday events and festivities. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise stated.
Opera Workshop

Jewell Jazz Band Concert

End of semester concert featuring Jewell's finest Jazz musicians performing standards and improvisations.
Lighting of the Quad
Dec. 6
7 p.m., Gano Chapel and Quad, William Jewell College campus, Liberty
A celebration of the season in Gano Chapel with a Wind Ensemble concert, sing-along carols and hanging of the green, followed by a lighting ceremony on the Quad. Light refreshments will be served in Yates-Gill College Union and Santa will be on hand for visits and photos.
Liberty Symphony Orchestra "Christmas Time Is Here" Concert

7:30 p.m., Second Baptist Church, Liberty
Under the direction of Dr. Langston Hemenway, skilled musicians from Jewell and the community will come together to perform holiday classics.
