Jewell moves to online courses for semester


William Jewell has moved all course offerings to an online platform for the remainder of the semester to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Co-curricular activities including intercollegiate athletics also have been suspended for the remainder of the spring semester. Following spring break, students may return to campus to move out of residence halls. Those with an acute need for campus housing may continue living on campus with approval from the Student Life Office.

Academic support and counseling services continue to be available to students free of charge, though now in an online format. While many staff are working remotely, others are on campus for limited operations and support of the online learning process. Prospective student visits are being offered virtually, with faculty and staff interacting with students via live video. The Mabee Center, Greene Stadium, Fitness Center and most other facilities are closed.
