On Feb. 13, 2024, Jewell's Center for Faith and Culture hosted its annual Faith Symposium on campus featuring John O'Leary.The two-time #1 national best-selling author and motivational speaker. At the age of nine, he was involved in a traumatic fire that burned 100 percent of his body. Waking up in the hospital bed, with 1 percent chance of survival, he decided he wasn't going to die, he wanted to live; to truly live. He authored the best selling books, "On Fire: The 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life" and "In Awe: Rediscover Your Childlike Wonder to Unleash Inspiration, Meaning and Joy."
